2Mirabell Palace
Private tour of the Mirabell Palace Gardens and nearby sights. Your tour will be led by an Expert Guide, who will help you appreciate the many charms of Salzburg. You will have a chance to enter the publicly accessible spaces of the Mirabell Palace, so you can admire the marble Angel Staircase and the beautiful Marble Hall, where Adolf Hitler attended a wedding of his future sister-in-law and a high-ranking SS officer. The guide will take you a walk through the Mirabell Gardens, pointing out shooting locations from the Sound of Music and other interesting spots. - Only parts of the Mirabell Palace are open to the public. You can visit the Angel Staircase from Monday to Saturday at 8 am-6 pm (except Sundays & holidays). The Marble Hall is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am-4 pm, Tuesday and Friday 1 pm-4 pm. No visit in case of special occasions.
- The Mirabell Gardens are open daily from 6 am to dusk. Partial closures in winter, e.g. the Dwarf Garden.
- Our tickets to Salzburg Cathedral allow you to skip the line at the cash desk, but not at the entrance. Entry during masses and special events is restricted
- The 3- and 5-hour options include an estimated 1-hour round-trip transfer time from your accommodation. Transfer time depends on the distance and traffic. We offer a standard car (sedan) for 1-4 people, and a larger van for groups of 5+ people. You can book a 5-people tour for a larger car.
