    Day 1

    Cusco - Santa Teresa (Cycling and canoeing )

    Ollantaytambo

    The Inca Jungle starts with pickup from your hotel to start the journey to Ollantaytambo where we have breakfast and then transfer by bus to the highest point of the trip: Malaga Pass (4350 meters above sea level), next to the snowy Veronica to make the descent by bicycle to Huaman Marca – Santa Maria. Village (1890 meters), ending this activity we are ready to have a delicious lunch and then enjoy an experience of coffee processing and coca plantations, then we head to Santa Teresa where you spend the first night. Optional: In case you book in advance you can enjoy rafting on the Vilcanota River with rapid category II and III. For this activity we will provide helmets, windbreakers and life jackets category V. In addition, after coordination you can enjoy the hot springs of Cocalmayo (town of Santa Teresa).

    Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes "Machu Picchu Town" (Zip and Hike)

    After breakfast, we started a hike to Hidroelectrica where you have the corresponding lunch and continue walking another 3 hours to Aguas Calientes. Tonight will be more comfortable in a hotel. Optional: In case you have a reservation of the zip line activity we will go on the transport that awaits us until the end of this adventure to go to Hydroelectric; in this activity you can enjoy 4 cables of 3km and a Tibetan bridge of 80m approx.

    Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco (hike)

    Machu Picchu

    The group will get up early to head to Machu Picchu, following an ascending route through the high forest, where we can have the opportunity to see the sunrise. The guide will show us the Machu Picchu shrine for approximately 2 hours. Afterwards the group will be free to enjoy Machu Picchu on their own. Once you finish, you will take the train and bus back to Cusco, thus finishing the Basic Inca Jungle.
