1:00 pm – 1:45 pm | Qoricancha Temple. Located in the heart of the Historic Center is this place, also called the Temple of the Sun. A space dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, the main Inca deity.
1:50pm – 2:30pm | Cusco Cathedral. The city’s landmark is impressive for its colonial baroque architectural style. Its foundations are built on structures of Inca origin.
2:45pm – 3:45pm | Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Site. The next stop is this impressive Inca settlement, the Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Unfortunately, much of its gigantic structure was destroyed during the colonization process.
15:50h – 16:20h | Qenqo Archaeological Site. This important Inca ceremonial center was where rituals and sacrifices took place.
4:30pm – 5pm | Puca Pucara Archaeological Site. It is believed that in the Inca era, the Puca Pucara archaeological complex was used as a military and administrative center.
5:00 pm – 5:30 pm | Tambomachay Archaeological Site. A place known as the “Inca shower” as it is a perfect example of the hydraulic engineering of this ancient civilization.
5:30pm – 6pm | Return to Cusco. We end our activities and return to Cusco. Disembarkation takes place at Plaza de Armas.
