We start the tour with the bus pickup from the hotel, airport, bus station or the meeting point from 5:30 to 6:00 AM, on the way we visit the funeral towers of ninamarca, native village of paucartambo and 4 hours from cousco is the Manu National Park (Acjanaco). In cloud forest we observe roosters of rocks, ketzales and greater biodiversity.
hullpa or chullpar is an ancient funerary tower of Aymara and Quechua origin, with an angular or round base, originally built for people of high status in Aymara and Inca culture.1 The Collao Chullparian tradition dates from the 13th and 14th centuries, after the fall of Tiahuanaco and its use as a mausoleum of authorities quickly becomes traditional in areas adjoining the highlands until the beginning of the 16th century (colonial-early).
Relaxation in thermomedicinal hot springs. Visit to the native community of Shintuya. Bird watching from the boat that lasts approximately 6 hours.
Very early we headed to observe the collpa of the parrots, then we continued the boat tour for 6 hours observing on the beaches the diversity of the animals such as alligators, turtles, capybaras, birds and if we are lucky we can observe the king of the jungle (Jaguar). Finally we visited a 30-meter observation tower.
We take a 3- to 4-hour hike to observe many species of monkeys, birds, reptiles and sail in a catamaran to observe giant otters, turtles, alligators, snakes and many more animals. OPTIONAL : night walks.
Very early we will observe the collpa of macaws, then we return along the Manu River sailing by boat and observing on the beaches the megadiversity of the animals found in this area.
We will enjoy the thermomedical baths and, during the return journey by boat and bus to Cusco, we will make strategic stops to observe the wildlife we find along the route.
