This tour takes place in small groups, allowing a more comfortable and personalized experience. The tour is guided by a professional and local guide, who provides detailed information on the geology, culture and traditions of the region throughout the walk. The experience includes tourist transport and food, with breakfast before starting the hike and buffet lunch at the end. It is an authentic experience in contact with nature, exploring Andean landscapes where it is possible to observe alpacas, llamas and unique panoramic views. For safety and comfort, the transfer is carried out in authorized vehicles and the guide is properly uniformed and identified.

Meeting and pickup
Pick-up takes place from hotels located in the historic center of Cusco.
Please be ready in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before scheduled hours. Pick-up will be carried out by agency staff duly identified with the company logo.
If your hotel is located outside the historic center, a nearby meeting point will be coordinated. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed after booking.

The tour starts early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco between 04:00 and 04:30 a.m., and then head towards the town of Cusipata, on a journey where you will enjoy Andean landscapes of approximately 2 hours.

Upon arriving in the village of Cusipata, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast to recharge before continuing the journey to the starting point of the hike, crossing panoramic routes surrounded by mountains and high Andean landscapes.

We continue the journey to the starting point of the hike, crossing panoramic routes surrounded by mountains and Andean landscapes. From there we begin a walk of about 1 to 2 hours, surrounded by mountains, alpacas and llamas, while the guide shares information about the natural environment and local culture. When you arrive at the Mountain of Colors – Vinicunca (5,036 m above sea level), you will have free time to explore, take pictures and admire the stunning natural colors of the mountain. The guide will provide an explanation of the geological origin of these formations and their importance to the region. Important note: Admission to the Mountain of Colors is not included and must be paid directly in cash to the local community upon arrival. After the visit, we will start the descent along the same path to the transport and head back to the town of Cusipata.

4Cusipata
After enjoying the visit to the Vinicunca Mountain of Colors, we will start the descent along the same path until we reach the transport. Then, we will head to the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a varied buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant, ideal for recovering energy after the walk.

5Plaza de Armas
After lunch, we will start the return journey to the city of Cusco, crossing again the Andean landscapes, arriving in the late afternoon and leaving them by the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
