This place was very protected, since it was the entrance to the road to Machu Picchu. Therefore, many things happened here during the Spanish invasion, discover the impressive history with your guide.

15:00 – Ollantaytambo Station – Train journey according to your choice, at the time of booking. After exploring Ollantaytambo, we will head to the train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes, the town located at the foot of Machu Picchu. During the tour, lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, we will enjoy spectacular landscapes where the Andean mountains gradually transform into lush cloud forest vegetation. The journey follows the course of the Urubamba River and offers unforgettable views through the train windows. You will be able to enjoy the selected train category when making your reservation. Aguas Calientes
18:10 — Reception and accommodation, free time on your own account. Upon our arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will assist us with the transfer to the selected hotel to spend the night. We will receive the necessary information for the visit to Machu Picchu the next day, including the meeting time and our guide's recommendations. After checking into the hotel, we will have free time to tour the small town, enjoy a self-catered dinner, or simply rest surrounded by the mountains.

Machu Picchu, the wonder of the world, and return to Cusco

07:00 — Breakfast at the hotel and preparation for Machu Picchu We will start the day with breakfast at our hotel before experiencing one of the most anticipated moments of the trip.

Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu – Guided tour of the Inca citadel We will take the tourist bus that will take us from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The most awaited moment of our adventure has arrived! We will enter Machu Picchu accompanied by our expert local guide to discover the history, the mysteries, and the extraordinary architecture of this impressive Inca citadel. During the tour, we will get to know the main attractions allowed by our entry circuit, while learning about the daily life, religious beliefs, and engineering knowledge of the Inca civilization. The guided tour has an approximate duration of 2 to 3 hours, depending on the assigned circuit. We prioritize circuit 2 according to availability. The circuit and the definitive schedule will be coordinated and confirmed before the visit, according to the official availability of tickets.

Aguas Calientes (Pass by)
11:00 – Return to Aguas Calientes, free time and return train After finishing our visit to Machu Picchu, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. Depending on the available schedule, we will have free time to have lunch on our own, walk the town's streets, visit its craft shops, or relax before the return trip. We will go to the train station to board our train back to Ollantaytambo.
Ollantaytambo Archeological Site (Pass by)
4:00 PM — Transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco Upon our arrival at Ollantaytambo station, our transport will be waiting for us to continue the journey back to Cusco. We will finalize our experience with the transfer to our accommodation in Cusco or the airport (if you have a scheduled flight, we recommend buying it after 8:00 pm)
