We pick up all travelers from their hotels between 04:30 and 05:00 am.
We will pick you up early to travel to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 pies)
where you will enjoy an energy-packed breakfast before starting the hike.
You will trek through Andean valleys and glaciers until you reach the beautiful Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 pies), a perfect place to relax and take unforgettable photos.
Then we will continue to the camp, where an emotional Andean wedding ceremony led by a high misayoc awaits you. You will experience authentic rituals surrounded by spectacular scenery with Mount Salkantay as a backdrop. After the ceremony, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and have time to rest. We will end the day with a special dinner and a peaceful night under a starry sky.
We will wake up at 5:30 a.m. to enjoy breakfast with unique views of Mount Salkantay.
Today you will conquer the highest point of the route: Abra Salkantay (4,630 m / 15,190 ft). This challenging ascent covers 7 km (4.34 miles) and takes approximately four hours. During the climb, you will enjoy spectacular landscapes with views of the valleys and the Apus Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay, and Pumasillo. Once at the top, you will have time to connect with the energy of the Andes before beginning the descent.
We will descend to Wayracmachay, where a hearty lunch and a viewpoint marking the transition from the Andean landscape to the cloud forest await you. We will then walk 9.5 km (5.9 miles) for three and a half hours to Collpapampa (2,950 m / 9,678 ft), where our exclusive Mountain Sky View camp
The Mountain Sky View camp is surrounded by tropical vegetation. There you will enjoy dinner and rest comfortably.
We start the day at 6:00 a.m. with a nutritious breakfast before hiking to Santa Teresa.
During the hike, you will enjoy lush scenery with rivers, waterfalls, wild orchids, and coffee, banana, and avocado plantations. If you are lucky, you may see the cock-of-the-rock, Peru's national bird.
Upon arrival at Zona Propiedad, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you to La Playa to visit an organic coffee farm and learn about the entire process, from harvesting to export-ready beans. After this enriching experience, we will continue on to Lucmabamba (2,000 meters above sea level / 6,562 feet) to enjoy a delicious lunch and settle into our exclusive Sacred Jungle Lodge camp in the middle of the rainforest.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Cocalmayo hot springs to enjoy a relaxing bath.
Afterwards, we will return to Lucmabamba for dinner and spend the night at our camp, a comfortable and harmonious space surrounded by nature.
We start the day with a cup of hot coca tea before enjoying your last breakfast prepared by our chefs.
Then we begin a hike along an original section of the Inca Trail. The climb takes approximately three hours and offers spectacular views of the Santa Teresa Valley. We will arrive at the archaeological site of Llaqtapata, from where you can see Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu while your guide shares the history of this ancient civilization.
After some free time for photos, we descend to Ahobamba, where you will enjoy a local lunch.
We continue on to Hidroeléctrica, where we will make a brief stop before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. During the journey, you will enjoy beautiful views.
At the end of the hike, we arrive in Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy dinner at a restaurant and get an early night's rest before your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
Today you will start early to visit Machu Picchu without the crowds. After a light breakfast, you will board one of the first buses to the citadel.
Once at the archaeological site, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours through the main temples, palaces, priestly enclosures, and terraces. At the end, you will have the option to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (subject to availability and prior reservation). These tours take between 1.5 and 3 hours in total.
You will then return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch and souvenir shopping.
In the afternoon, you will head to the station to board the Vistadome Observatory panoramic train.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
We will drop you off at your hotel in Cusco so you can rest after your trip as a couple.
