    Ollantaytambo an important Inca town surrounded by sacred mountains. Ollantaytambo served as a strategic military center, agricultural hub, and religious center. The Sun Temple, perched on a hilltop, showcases impressive architecture, carvings, farming terraces, and interconnected stone steps. Notably, this site is one of the few places where the Spanish lost a battle during the conquest.
