    Qorikancha

    The Temple of the Sun: inside, you’ll find small temples dedicated to the sun, the moon, and the stars, all built upon the original stone foundations. Outside, you can stroll through beautiful gardens and admire the flowing fountains that surround this sacred Inca site.

    Sacsayhuaman

    Sacsayhuaman: here you’ll see enormous, finely carved stones, where the precision of the cuts and the way each block fits together is truly impressive. During the Inti Raymi festivities, locals gather in this area to make offerings to Mother Earth using sacred coca leaves. The complex is made up of three overlapping terraces that overlook the city of Cusco, framed by the beautiful surrounding mountains.

    Q'enqo

    Qenqo: this complex was an Inca ceremonial center carved directly into the rock. At the top, you can see zigzagging channels, while inside the grotto there are small trapezoidal niches that were likely used for ritual purposes.

    Here you’ll see ancient aqueducts and water fountains fed by nearby natural springs. This site was a ceremonial center dedicated to the worship of water.
