Cusco (Pass by)
Your trip begins here! At 4:00 AM, enjoy a comfortable pickup from your hotel before we travel south toward Cusipata, taking in beautiful countryside views along the way.

Breakfast in Cusipata. Stop in the town of Cusipata for a warm and delicious Andean breakfast before continuing the journey to the trailhead. Drive to the Trailhead Continue driving through remote high-altitude landscapes, passing traditional villages, alpacas, and scenic mountain views. 8:00 AM – Start of the Hike Arrive at the trailhead and begin the guided hike toward Pallay Poncho Mountain. Your guide will maintain a comfortable pace and provide insights into local culture, geology, and wildlife. Pallay Poncho Viewpoint Reach the top and enjoy free time to explore the colorful rock formations, take stunning photos, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. Descent & Return to the Van Start the descent back to the van (approximately 20 minutes of downhill walking). Once onboard, we begin the drive back toward Cusipata. Lunch in Cusipata Enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch with Andean ingredients and vegetarian options.
