The Maras salt mines are located 3,000 meters above sea level, 1 hour and a half from the city of Cusco. These salt mines and their exploitation is as old as Tahuantinsuyo. Pisac es una muestra más de lo avanzada que estaba la civilización incaica en arquitectura e ingeniería.
