1Quelccaya Ice Cap
START Begin with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel by tourist transport through the southern Andes, passing small villages, highland valleys, and remote Andean landscapes. Along the way, enjoy views of snow-capped peaks and local wildlife such as vicuñas, wallatas, vizcachas, llamas, and alpacas. EXPERIENCE After breakfast and approximately 5.5 hours of scenic travel, arrive near Qelqaya and begin the final part of the adventure with a guided hike. Explore the Quelccaya, Suyuparina area with your guide and enjoy breathtaking views of glacier formations, frozen landscapes, and a frozen lagoon surrounded by dramatic Andean scenery. Take time for photos, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and learn about the importance of this unique tropical glacier region, one of the most impressive and remote natural attractions in the Peruvian Andes.

After visiting this incredible natural attraction, enjoy lunch and begin the return journey to Cusco, following the same scenic route through the Andes. The tour ends near Cusco’s Main Square between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
