Discover the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2 days, an experience that combines hiking, history, and Andean landscapes without needing to do the four-day classic route.
On the first day you will cover approximately 12 km of the ancient Inca Trail from Km 104, visiting the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna. You will continue to Inti Punku, the historic Sun Gate, from where you will enjoy one of the most special views of Machu Picchu.
After the hike, you will rest in a hotel in Aguas Calientes. The next day, you will visit Machu Picchu accompanied by a professional guide who will help you understand the history and architecture of the Inca city.
The experience includes tourist transportation, train, entry permits, accommodation, and assistance during the tour. It is an excellent alternative for those who wish to experience the authentic Inca Trail with fewer available days and without camping.

We will start the Inca Trail at Km 104 and visit Chachabamba, an ancient Inca ceremonial center located next to the Urubamba River. Our guide will explain its history and architecture before continuing the ascent.

2Winay Wayna
We will visit Wiñay Wayna, one of the most impressive archaeological complexes of the Inca Trail, known for its agricultural terraces, stairways, and Inca constructions. Afterward, we will continue along the original path to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, from where we will enjoy our first panoramic view of Machu Picchu before continuing to Aguas Calientes.

3Machu Picchu
After breakfast, we will take the tourist bus to Machu Picchu to enjoy a guided tour of the Inca city. Our guide will explain the history, architecture, and meaning of its main sectors, following the assigned entry circuit. At the end, we will return to Aguas Calientes to take the train to Ollantaytambo and continue by tourist transport to Cusco.
