Trek one of the most spectacular trekking routes in Peru for 5 days to Machu Picchu. This itinerary combines Laguna Humantay, the Salkantay Pass at 4,600 m, cloud forest, a local coffee experience in Lucmabamba, and the Llactapata viewpoint, from where you can view Machu Picchu before arriving in Aguas Calientes. 1Salkantay Trail
We will start the hike on the Salkantay route from Challacancha, surrounded by Andean landscapes and views of the Humantay and Salkantay snow-capped peaks. After a few hours of trekking we will arrive at Soraypampa, where we will have lunch and settle into our mountain accommodation.

2Humantay Lake
From Soraypampa we will take a hike to Laguna Humantay, surrounded by snowy mountains and turquoise waters. We will have time to enjoy the landscape, take photographs, and acclimatize before returning to Soraypampa.
