Paucartambo
We'll initiate your voyage from Cusco to Manú National Park, Peru, with an early morning pickup from your hotel. Aboard our private transport, we'll embark from the Andes towards the Amazon. Our journey first halts at the folklore-rich Andean town of Paucartambo, nestled 2906 meters (9534 ft) above sea level. At this location, you'll savor a traditional breakfast while our guide weaves tales of the town's enduring traditions and customs.

After breakfast, we'll progress on our journey, heading towards Tres Cruces or Acjano, the tour's pinnacle on the Manu National Park trip from Cusco, standing at an elevation of 3900 meters (12795 ft). From this vantage point, you'll witness the mesmerizing panorama of the expansive Amazon basin.

Manu National Park
Our next move will be to descend towards the Manu Cloud Forest, an area rich with a variety of flora and fauna, including lush orchid farms. Be vigilant for a glimpse of the Peruvian National Bird, the Andean cock of the rock, as well as the cappuccino monkey and wooly monkey.

Madre de Dios Region
After a delicious lunch at the Hummingbird Garden, we'll head to the port of Santa Cruz. This will be our starting point for an exciting motorboat trip up the Madre de Dios River and into the Palotoa River. For this leg of the journey, we'll use a "peque-peque," a small boat specially designed for navigating shallow rivers, which will take us directly to our destination: the magical Amazon Treehouse.

We'll start the day early, enjoying a delicious and comforting breakfast amidst the breathtaking tranquility and the morning sounds of the deep rainforest. After fueling up, we'll get ready with the necessary equipment to begin one of the most exciting activities of the expedition: venturing onto our exclusive trails deep within the rainforest. During this guided hike, we'll walk under the shade of ancient trees with a clear objective: to search for the fascinating wildlife of Manu. With the help of our expert guides and by sharpening our senses, we'll look for tracks, listen for birds, and carefully scan the treetops for monkeys, sloths, colorful birds, exotic insects, and other animals in their purest natural habitat.

At midday, we'll enjoy a delicious jungle lunch, specially prepared by our team with fresh, local ingredients and authentic Amazonian flavors. After this feast, we'll have a well-deserved rest at our facilities to relax, recharge, and enjoy the tranquility of our surroundings. In the afternoon, the adventure continues. We'll prepare to head towards a swampy area, a fascinating and mysterious ecosystem. We'll carefully venture into this habitat in search of the impressive white caiman and the various species of snakes and serpents that are attracted by the unique conditions of this place. Always accompanied by our expert guides, you'll experience a safe, educational, and adrenaline-filled reptile-watching adventure.

Manu National Park
As the sun sets, we’ll wait patiently for nightfall to begin one of the most exciting and adrenaline-filled excursions of the entire trip. Equipped with our flashlights, we’ll venture into the night forest in search of caimans. Moving silently along the trails, we’ll look for the red glints of their eyes reflecting off the water and the jungle. In addition to the caimans, the night awakens a completely different world: we’ll have the unique opportunity to spot nocturnal birds and even hear the impressive symphony of insects and frogs that bring the Amazon rainforest to life. An experience full of mystery and pure excitement.

Day 3
Macaw Clay Lick - Manu Jungle Tour - River Tubing

We'll begin before dawn. Our goal is to visit the Parrot and Macaw Clay Lick, an unforgettable experience on any trip to Manu National Park. Here, you'll observe hundreds of brightly colored parrots and macaws gathered on the cliff to feed on clay. This clay is rich in minerals, which help these birds eliminate toxins from their bodies. After this exceptional spectacle, we'll return to the Amazon Tree House for breakfast. After breakfast, we'll embark on another hike. We'll follow a winding trail where you can observe numerous medicinal plants. During the hike, your guide will explain the uses of these plants. As we continue, we might encounter anteaters, sloths, and tapirs in their natural habitat. We'll observe them while maintaining a safe distance. We'll conclude our morning of exploration and discovery around midday. Then, we'll return to the cozy atmosphere of the lodge. A delicious lunch will be waiting for us there.

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to unwind and delight in some river tubing on the sparkling waters of the Palotoa River. After the sun sets, we will serve dinner. Amazon Treehouse - Cusco

The fourth day will commence with breakfast at the Amazon Treehouse. Following this, we will board our boat and set sail back to the Zanta Cruz pier. Upon arrival, our crew and private transportation will be ready to take you back to the city of Cusco.
