The first destination is Paucartambo, perched at an elevation of 2906 meters, where you'll savor a traditional breakfast as your guide enlightens you on the local customs and culture.
After imbibing the historic essence of Paucartambo, we'll journey to the Tres Cruces or Acjano viewpoint. Resting at a breathtaking 3900 meters (12795 ft), it's the zenith of our Manu National Park tour from Cusco, granting stunning views of the Amazon basin.
Following this spectacle, we'll delve into the Manu Cloud Forest, showcasing its diverse flora, fauna, and orchid farms. The forest is a sanctuary for Peru's National Bird, the Andean cock of the rock, and distinct wildlife like the cappuccino monkey and wooly monkey. After a local lunch, we'll transport you to Atalaya Port, where a motorboat journey along the Madre de Dios River awaits.

After a nutritious breakfast, we'll launch on a expedition along the Manu and Palotoa Rivers. We'll navigate into the heart of the Manu Jungle, heading for our private Treehouse INN.
Tucked within the Manu Jungle, the Treehouse INN offers exclusive access to our visitors. The boat journey from Manu Rainforest Lodge to the Inn unveils spectacular cloud forests and potentially, sightings of a range of mammals and rodents, including capybaras. As you reach the Treehouse INN, our team will greet you cordially. After checking into your rooms, we initiate our exploration of the vicinity. This guided tour may reveal massive trees, exotic creatures, and diverse bird species. Our tour guide will also present the local medicinal plants, which are crucial to indigenous people's health practices. After this excursion, we'll convene back at the lodge for a meal.
Post meal, we embark on a more extensive trail into the Manu Jungle. Stay alert for native birdlife, as you might spot the vibrant hues of Macaws and parrots, fleeting hummingbirds, and hardworking woodpeckers, among others. As the day concludes, we'll retire to the lodge for an evening meal. A short night walk follows where you might discover nocturnal beings like howler monkeys, Kalinoski rats, pygmy owls, tarantulas, spiders, and coral snakes.
Ensure to carry your flashlight for this nocturnal exploration. We'll subsequently head back to the Treehouse INN for a tranquil sleep, accompanied by the Amazon Rainforest's ambient sounds.
The third day begins before the break of dawn with an early departure to witness the Parrots and Macaws Clay Lick, a remarkable spectacle of the Manu National Park experience. Watch hundreds of vivid parrots and macaws flock to the cliff to feed on the detoxifying clay. Amidst this spectacle, you'll enjoy breakfast.
Post-breakfast, we'll embark on a hike through a notable trail around the local community, encountering a variety of medicinal plants, with our tour guide providing insights into their uses. Going deeper, you might spot snakes, jaguars, pumas, anteaters, sloths, and tapirs in their natural habitats, observed from a safe distance. We'll pause for lunch amidst the rainforest. After lunch, our exploration continues, prepared to observe a diverse mix of wildlife, plants, and bird species. As dusk settles over Manu Peru, we return to the lodge for dinner. The day concludes with a night walk through the jungle, offering another chance to see nocturnal creatures.

Post-river adventure, we serve lunch at the Treehouse INN. After lunch, it's time to depart and embark on a ride returning to the Rainforest Lodge. Post a delightful dinner, we set off for a final exploration of this part of the Manu Rainforest. The day concludes with a restful overnight stay at the Rainforest Lodge, serenaded to sleep by the soothing sounds of the jungle.
On the final day of our Manu Amazon Journey, we'll commence with a fulfilling breakfast at the Rainforest Lodge.
Following breakfast, we'll set out on a voyage back to Atalaya Dock. Here, our team will be on standby with our private vehicle to drive us back to Cusco.
On the way, we'll pause in Paucartambo to savour a meal. Immerse yourself in the flavours of this captivating Andean town one last time.
Our expedition concludes with an arrival in Cusco around 06:00 PM. We guarantee this memorable expedition will furnish you with a wealth of unforgettable moments.
