During the tour along the Inca Trail you will be able to learn about the fascinating history of the Inca civilization in the 15th century, while traveling through the incredible landscapes and numerous microclimates of the Andes, subtropical jungle and cloud forest. In addition to various Inca buildings, you can reach Inti Punku from where you will have a fascinating view of Machu Picchu and then visit this wonder of the modern world.

    Pick up and transport to KM 82-WAYLLABAMBA-YUNCACHIMPA

    Inca Trail

    -At 5:30 am. we will pick you up from your hotel in our bus to take him to Ollantaytambo, where we will take our breakfast and then continue towards km. 82, where is the first checkpoint and beginning of the Inca trail. - Here you must present your passport and license student (if applicable). After performing the entry control we will start the adventure with our group. - During the walk you will appreciate the spectacular landscapes of the Andes, We will pass through Miskay where we will have the lunch on the banks of a small river with a view of the archaeological center of Llactapata. - Then, we will cross the Valley of Cusichaca towards Wayllabamba (3100 m.s.n.m./10170 f.s.n.m.) until reaching Yuncachimpa. (3300 m.a.s.l./10826 f.s.n.m.), where our camp. -DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate. -DISTANCE: approximately 11 km

    YUNCACHIMPA – LLULLUCHA PAMPA – WARMIHUAÑUSPAPACAYMAYO PASS – RUNKURAKAY PASS – CHAQUICOCHA.

    Inca Trail

    - At the start of the day we will have a good breakfast, necessary for the great physical effort of this day. - The walk begins through the valley Llulluchapampa, after 3 hours of walking approximately, we will begin the ascent to highest point of the Inca Trail “The Pass of Warmihuañusca” (dead woman), (4200 m s.n.m./13776 f.s.n.m). - From there you can see a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and snow-capped mountains. - Then we will descend towards the Valley of Pacaymayo to continue through the pass Runkurakay until reaching Chaquicocha. (3650 m.a.s.l./11975 f.s.n.m) where it will be located our camp. - DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Strong (Challenge to get over) - DISTANCE: approximately 15 km

    CHAQUICOCHA – PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYHUAYNA.

    Inca Trail

    - Our tour today will be calm we will descend until we reach the jungle subtropical, leaving the Andes behind. - This day we will be able to observe a greater variety of flora (orchids) and fauna (birds) Also We will visit the archaeological sites of Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarka (City above the clouds) (3600 m.a.s.l./11811 f.s.n.m.) to continue to Wiñayhuayna (forever young)(2650 m.a.s.l./ 8694 f.s.n.m.), where our last camp. - DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate. - DISTANCE: approximately 10 km.

    WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHUPICCHU – RETURN TRAIN TO CUSCO

    Machu Picchu

    - This is the last day of our adventure the Inca Trail, at 4:30 a.m. we will start our journey to the Inti Punku (Door of the Sun) from where we will observe the spectacular sunrise over Machu Picchu (which will depend on the conditions of the weather) Finally we will arrive at the citadel of Machu Picchu. - Upon arriving at Machu Picchu we will have enough time to tour the citadel together with the guide, after this visit, optionally you can ascend the mountain of Huayna Picchu or the mountain of Machu Picchu (for this you need to make a reservation along with the Inca Trail reserve). - Then we will descend to the town of Aguas Hot where we can visit the baths thermal springs and have time for lunch. - Finally we will board the train back to Cusco. - The return trip will take approximately 4 hours.
