    Complejo Arqueologico Chinchero

    Chinchero, located 28 km away on the route to Urubamba. Here, you’ll explore the featuring a beautiful colonial church built atop ancient Inca foundations. Chinchero is also famous for its traditional craft market, where local artisans showcase colorful textiles and handicrafts made using ancestral weaving techniques and natural dyes.

    Continue to Moray, an archaeological site just 7 km from Maras, known for its impressive circular terraces built at various depths. These terraces are believed to have been an ancient agricultural research center, where the Incas experimented with different microclimates. Moray is also considered a spiritual site, associated with the feminine energy of Pachamama (Mother Earth).
