The pickups are from the historic center of the city, around the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, if your hotel is far away in another district the pickup will be in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
In the square of arms there is a water fountain that has a large Inca, there will be the collection, the guide will call them by name.
Your great adventure begins with pickup from your hotel at 4:30am then we will head to Ollantaytambo
Once here you can enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the starting point of the Piscacucho hike (km82)
The walk begins with a gentle stretch, this will help you acclimate, you will appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes.
We continue visiting archaeological sites such as Patallacta, after a 45 minute walk we will reach the place where we will have lunch, continuing with the walk we will reach Wayllabamba
After lunch we will walk until we reach the first Wayllabamba camp, where a delicious dinner and a night of rest under the stars awaits.
In the morning we will have breakfast from 05.30 am, then continue with the walk to the second Wayllabamba checkpoint and then begin a gradual ascent of one and a half hours to our first resting point named AYAPATA
Place where we can find hygienic services and local outlets, and then continue the ascent
Passage of the dead woman offers breathtaking views and a short ceremony in honor of the Apus, continuing with the journey we will arrive at our second camp Pacaymayo
Here we will have lunch and dinner, where we will spend the night in this place.
After breakfast we will continue our walk, this stretch is 16 km. Full of vegetation and number of Inca archaeological sites of different functions the first archaeological site we will visit will be Runcurakay, continuing we arrive at Sayacmarka, we will walk to the Chaquicocha lunch point, continuing we will arrive at Phuyupatamarca.
Wiñayhuayna where we will have infusions and special dinner because this day we will have a farewell ceremony to our porters. (This camp may vary with phuyupatamarca depending on availability)
This day we get up 3.00 am for our breakfast snack, then descend to the checkpoint where we will wait for a time of 2 hours, past the checkpoint we will walk for the time of 1 hour to the point of Inti Punku (gate of the sun) where we will spend a break of 20 minutes to have the majestic view of Machu picchu and Wayna Picchu
We will begin the 1 hour descent to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Afterwards we will receive the tour full of history of 2 hours with our guide and will have some free time to take photos, and explore the Archaeological site and from there return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch on your own, finally head to the train station which may be ( 13 : 37, 15 : 20 Expedition depends availability) to return to the town of Ollantaytambo and from there take by tourist transport to the city of Cusco where you will drop us at your hotel (Cusco)
