Head into the Sahara on this 4x4 day trip from Douz to the Ksar Ghilane oasis. The adventure starts the moment you leave town, your driver-guide takes you across sand tracks and rolling dunes, with wide-open desert scenery and photo stops along the way. Arrive around 11 AM after roughly three hours, visit the Roman Fort of Tisavar near the oasis, then explore the green palm grove with its cafes and small restaurants. Swim in the natural thermal hot spring and enjoy free time to walk around. Lunch is not included, but you can eat at a local restaurant at your own expense. The return route keeps the adventure going, crossing the desert again as you leave Ksar Ghilane around 4 PM and reach Douz around 6 PM. Includes Douz pickup and drop-off, 4x4 transport and a local driver-guide.

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from hotels in Douz, or you can meet us at the meeting point. On the day of your tour, our agency will contact you first to arrange your pickup. Your driver-guide will then call you when he arrives at your hotel.
Located in Douz city center on Avenue Taieb Mhiri, directly across the road from the STB Bank. You will see our main agency name sign positioned right above the entrance door and a prominent wind billboard standing directly out front.
