this plaze is very well located, city center of Cusco, easy to get here.
Chinchero – Begin your journey in this charming Andean town known as the “Land of the Rainbow.” Explore impressive Inca terraces and a colonial church built directly on top of ancient Inca stonework. Enjoy a live textile demonstration, where local Quechua women show traditional dyeing and weaving techniques using natural plants and alpaca wool.
Moray – Visit one of the most fascinating Inca engineering achievements: the circular agricultural terraces of Moray. These enormous amphitheater-like depressions created more than 20 different microclimates, allowing the Incas to experiment with crops and develop advanced farming techniques.
Maras Salt Mines – Continue to the stunning Salineras de Maras, home to over 3,000 salt pools cascading down a mountainside. Learn how Inca families have harvested salt here for centuries, using a natural spring rich in minerals. The panoramic views of the valley and pools make this one of the most photogenic spots in Cusco.
Urubamba – Stop for lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Enjoy a fresh Andean buffet featuring local ingredients, organic vegetables, quinoa dishes, and Peruvian specialties—all surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
Ollantaytambo – Explore one of the last living Inca towns, famous for its original Inca streets, canals, and stone walls still in use today. Climb the impressive terraces of the Ollantaytambo Fortress, learn about its strategic importance during the Spanish conquest, and take in panoramic views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Optional: End your tour here and walk directly to the Ollantaytambo Train Station to catch your train to Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu. This saves you hours and avoids returning to Cusco. This option is free.
Pisac – Finish with a visit to the spectacular Pisac archaeological complex, built high on the mountain slopes. Explore temples, ceremonial sites, agricultural terraces, and lookout points with incredible views of the valley. After your visit, return comfortably to Cusco.
