The journey begins with an early morning departure from Cusco, traveling along the scenic Route of the Sun through beautiful Andean valleys and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Andahuaylillas, visit the famous colonial church known as the “Sistine Chapel of America,” admired for its impressive murals, gold decorations, and religious artwork. Built during the 16th century, this beautiful church preserves one of the most important collections of colonial art in the Andes and reflects the blend of Andean and Spanish traditions.
Explore the archaeological complex dedicated to the Inca god Wiracocha, featuring ancient temples, storehouses, and remarkable Inca architecture. This important ceremonial site showcases massive stone-and-adobe constructions and offers insight into the engineering and religious practices of the Inca civilization.

After a full day traveling along the famous Route of the Sun and visiting important cultural and archaeological sites, arrive in the city of Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Known as the folkloric capital of Peru, Puno offers beautiful highland landscapes and a unique Andean atmosphere. Upon arrival at the bus station, our staff will welcome you and provide transportation to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax, acclimatize to the altitude, or explore the nearby streets and local restaurants at your own pace.
Early in the morning, transfer to the port of Puno to board a boat across Lake Titicaca. The first stop is the famous Uros Floating Islands, an ancestral community that has lived for generations on artificial islands made entirely of totora reeds. During the visit, local families will share their traditions, daily life, handicrafts, and the unique techniques used to build and maintain the floating islands.
Continue by boat to Taquile Island, a peaceful Andean community well known for preserving its ancestral customs, traditional clothing, and world-famous textile art recognized by UNESCO. Enjoy a scenic walk through the island while learning about the local culture and community lifestyle. After a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients, return by boat to Puno.
In the evening, transfer to the bus station for your overnight direct bus from Puno to Cusco. Travelers choosing the hotel option will be transferred back to their accommodation in Puno for an additional overnight stay.
Travelers returning from Puno by overnight bus will arrive in Cusco in the morning, where our staff will be waiting at the bus terminal to provide transportation to your hotel or directly to the airport according to your travel schedule. Travelers ending the tour in Puno will receive transfer service from their hotel to Inca Manco Cápac International Airport or to the local bus terminal, ensuring a comfortable and organized conclusion to the experience.
