What sets this journey from Cusco to Puno apart is that it combines comfortable transportation with cultural visits along the renowned Route of the Sun. Rather than simply travelling from one city to another, you will discover some of the most interesting historical and archaeological sites of the southern Andes.
Along the way, visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, the Inca complex of Raqchi, and the Pukara Lithic Museum. You will also stop at La Raya, the highest point of the route, where you can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding Andean landscapes.

1San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas
Take a guided tour inside the church, see the colonial decoration with leaves of gold and murals of the seventeenth century, and don't miss the famous murals, The Way to Heaven and the Way to Hell.

2Parque Arqueologico De Raqchi
Enjoy a guided visit to Raqchi, an Inca construction built during the 15th century that was used as a temple for Inca rituals and also a place to home soldiers and pilgrims during their festivities.

3La Raya Pass
The political border between Cusco and Puno is also a natural geographical border between the Andean valleys and the big South American plateau, and it is also the highest point on the route. It is very interesting to notice that you will see two very different ecological floors on the trip.

4Museo Litico Pukara
An interesting guided visit where you will find carving stones of the "Pucara Civilization, 500 B.C." representing different animals from Lake Titicaca and the first iconographies of the Andean civilization. Don´t miss the carved stone called "The Beheader.".
