    DAY 1: CUSCO - ABRA MALAGA - SANTA MARIA (Biking & River Rafting)

    Ollantaytambo

    Picking you up from your accommodation around 6 am. We drive you by car through the amazing sacred valley of the Incas. Passing Chinchero with amazing views of Vilcabamba and enjoying the panoramic views of the small towns in the sacred valley, after 2-hour drive we stop in the Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Then we still driving the car up to Abra Malaga pass at 4350 m.a.s.l 14271ft at this point we are going start 60 KM biking down to Santa Maria town at 1430 m.a.s.l 4691ft. At Abra Malaga, you are going get all the biking gear and also a biking training to ensure the triumphant arrival to Santa Maria town. Biking starts high in the Andes with the majestic view of Veronica snow-capped. Downhill biking from Abra Malaga to Huamanmarca Inca site to have lunch and to explore the small Inca ruins of Huamanmarca. Afterward, we get back on the car to get to Santa Maria to do 1:30 hour white river rafting in the afternoon. Once in Santa Maria, In the evening dinner at the restaurant in town

    DAY 2: SANTA MARIA - QUELLOMAYO - SANTA TERESA (Hiking)

    Cusco

    Our hiking day starts with an energetic breakfast at the restaurant around 6:00 am. Today is one of the most remarkable days of the entire adventure. We start hiking along the car route for about 45 minutes. Then we get into the original Inca trail that used to be to connect Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba considered the last Inca capital. On the way, we appreciate many plantations of bananas, Coca, yucca, coffee, etc. 3 hours hiking on the original Inca trail with magnificent views of the Vilcanota valley and panoramic views of the hills covered on a different type of plantations from the jungle.

    Cusco

    We stopped at Quellomayo village for lunch a nice place to have lunch in one of the local restaurants after lunch you can rest or walk around. Afterward, we continue the hike along the Vilcanota River for a 3.5-hour hike to get to Cocalmayo hot springs. This natural and outdoor hot spring is great for a muscle to relax after the hike you can spend a couple of hours at the hot springs before continuing the trek to Santa Teresa. After 45 minutes of hiking from the hot springs, we get to Santa Teresa. Overnight is going to be in Santa Teresa in the hostel and dinner in the local restaurant.

    DAY 3: SANTA MARIA - HIDROELECTRICA - AGUAS CALIENTES (Zip Line & Hiking)

    This day starts with breakfast around 7:00 AM, and after that is half an hour until South America`s highest Zip Lines, It´s two hours in total doing this activity to go to Hidroelectrica to have lunch. Then is time to hike next to the Urubamba River, enjoying beautiful landscapes, two hours from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes. Aguas Calientes is the closest town to Machu Picchu (just half an hour by bus), here is the place to have dinner, sleep, and also to enjoy Aguas Calientes hot springs.

    DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

    Machu Picchu

    The grand finale! We will wake up very early this morning for our visit to Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel to see and learn about temples, terraces, and all of the incredible stone structures that make Machu Picchu a Wonder of the World. For those who have previously selected to climb *Huayna Picchu Mountain or *Machu Picchu Mountain, you will do so at your designated time (1st group: 6am to 8am, 2nd group: 9am to 11am) This day you can choose how to come back to Cusco. First Option: Come back by Car. It is the cheapest option, you need to leave from Machu Picchu 12:00 PM maximun, It is around three hours by foot until Hidroelectrica where the minivan is waiting to come back Cusco and arrive 10:00 PM approximately. Second Option: Come back by Train. +95 USD Per Person It gives to you more time to enjoy Machu Picchu, the train leaves from Aguas Calientes 18:20 PM or 21:50 PM, It is around two hours until Ollantaytambo and two hours by minivan until Cusco.
