  Complejo Arqueologico Chinchero

  Hotel pickup between 6:00 - 6:30 am approx. After a trip of approximately 1 hour, we will arrive in the town of Chinchero, a small Andean indigenous town located at an altitude of 3765 m. Chinchero was an important administrative center and residence during the Inca era, built by Túpac Inca Yupanqui. It is known for its agricultural terraces, temples, and Inca roads that connect with other important sites in the Sacred Valley. We will visit a textile center where local families still preserve ancestral techniques for spinning, dyeing with natural local dyes, and weaving alpaca or sheep wool, and I could buy some optional souvenirs.

  Archaeological Site of Moray

  In a 35-minute trip we will arrive at the next destination Moray. It is presumed that Moray functioned as an experimental agricultural laboratory. The Incas would have cultivated various types of products in each terrace, observing their behavior in different climatic conditions.

  Salinas de Maras

  In a 30-minute trip by transport, we will arrive at the salt pans of Maras, or the famous "Salt Mines" located in the district of Maras. The salt of Maras comes from an ocean trapped in the mountains thousands of years ago, which through a spring that comes out of the middle of the mountain flows into the 4,200 pools of the Maras Salt Mines, pools that the families of the Maras community work and harvest with an ancestral technique for 600 years.

  Urubamba

  After a trip of approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive in the province of Urubamba, here we will have free time to enjoy the buffet lunch with a variety of national and local typical dishes.

  Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

  After 30 minutes of transport, we arrived in the town of Ollantaytambo, a charming town that preserves the designs of the Inca buildings, located at an altitude of 2770 meters in the province of Urubamba. Ollantaytambo was a strategic Inca center in the Sacred Valley, built in the 15th century by Pachacútec for military and agricultural control, and later expanded. It played a key role during the Spanish conquest as a point of resistance under the command of Manco Inca, even achieving a victory against the Spanish before its subsequent withdrawal. Currently, it is a famous tourist destination and the gateway to Machu Picchu, which preserves its Inca urban design. For passengers who have an afternoon train trip to Machu Picchu, the tour ends here at approximately 3:00 PM.

  Parque Arqueologico Pisac

  After a long journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by transport, we will arrive at this beautiful place in Pisaq. In the archaeological center of Pisac we will find dwellings, aqueducts, roads, bridges, towers, barracks, cemetery, ceremonial centers, and a large sector of agricultural terraces. Pisac is also known for the large number of towers or viewpoints located in various points of the place. In the town of Pisaq we will make a stop to appreciate the artisanal works and shop optionally. I will return to Cusco immediately, arriving around 7:00 PM. The tour ends near the Plaza Mayor.
