Our tour to Machu Picchu has been designed to provide an authentic and enriching experience. The adventure will begin with a scenic train ride, winding through stunning scenery. Once you arrive at Machu Picchu, you will be greeted by the majestic ruins that rise before you. Our expert guide will take you on an exciting tour, revealing the secrets and history behind each structure and corner of the sanctuary. We have guides in English and Spanish, who provide personalized attention, always in good spirits and creating a friendly bond with our passengers.
We will pick up the passengers from the hotel to start our 2-hour trip to the Ollantaytambo train station where we will take the chosen train, we will travel for approximately 1 hour and a half and once we arrive at our destination of Aguas Calientes the guide will be waiting for them with a sign with the name of the group to take them to the bus, it will take 30 minutes to get on and once there they will enter the Machu Picchu monument and will take a guided tour of approximately 3 hours and will have free time to take photos and see the landscapes. After the tour we went down to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and wait for the departure of our return train. Once you return to Ollantaytambo, the transport will be waiting for you to go to your hotels in Cusco.
The journey from Cusco to the Ollantaytambo train station is approximately 2 hours and vice versa. While the train journey from Ollanyatambo to the town of Aguas Calientes is 1 hour and a half.
In order to go and return from Machu Picchu it is necessary to do it from the train station located in Ollantaytambo. In this town we can only make the stop for this tour. However, to get to know the Ollantaytambo fortress we offer the Sacred Valley tour in which you can also get to know Maras, Moray, Pisaq, Chinchero and Urubamba
Aguas Calientes is the town located at the foot of the Machu Picchu mountains, it is a town dedicated to tourism, it has a restaurant and a craft market that you can visit at the entrance and exit of the train station. At the end of the Machu Picchu tour, you will have enough time in the town of Aguas Calientes to eat and buy handicrafts calmly. The time to go up and down from the town of Aguas Calientes to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu is 30 minutes each way.
