We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and begin our journey through the scenic Sacred Valley. Meanwhile, the road gradually climbs into the high Andes, offering breathtaking views of glaciers and deep valleys along the way.
Next, we arrive at the spectacular mountain pass of Abra Málaga, located more than 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) above sea level. Here, your professional guide provides a complete safety briefing and prepares the mountain biking equipment before starting the trip.
After completing the biking section, we continue by vehicle through the Sacred Valley toward the historic Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Here you can relax briefly before continuing your journey toward Machu Picchu.
Later, you board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we escort you to your hotel. Afterwards, you can explore the charming streets of the town, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
after breakfast at your hotel, you take the shuttle bus up the mountain to the breathtaking archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu lasting approximately two hours. Your professional guide will explain the fascinating history, architecture, and engineering of the Inca civilization while exploring terraces, temples, ceremonial spaces, and spectacular viewpoints.
Afterwards, return to Aguas Calientes where you’ll have free time for lunch and exploring the town. Later, board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, a private transfer returns you to Cusco, arriving in the evening and completing this trip.
