We plan your complete itinerary on the first day, visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the next day travel by tourist train to Aguas Calientes from the City of Cusco or from the Ollantaytambo station. The main square is the most central place in the city of Cusco, I could easily get there along El Sol Avenue, until I reached the end. Our guide will be in the middle part of the main square with a flag with our company logo.
We will have the first visit to the Pisaq archaeological center, this Inca archaeological site is one of the jewels of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It has temples and palaces finely carved in stone.
After visiting Pisac we will continue in the sacred valley of the Incas, Ollantaytambo is one of the most important towns in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco. The archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo was a military, religious and agricultural center. This fabulous architectural setting is interesting for the size, originality and detail of its structures.
As the last stop we will have the archaeological center of Chinchero. The Chinchero archaeological park is one of the main attractions of the town. It is an important agricultural site of up to 43 hectares made during the Inca period. In Chinchero there are dozens of textile centers where llama and alpaca garments are woven and dyed in the traditional way. It is part of the tour to the Sacred Valley.
The second day we will begin by boarding the train to Machu Picchu. The Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu is located in the Cusco Region. It includes an extensive cultural and natural landscape located in diverse ecosystems, in which there are also other archaeological sites connected by roads that lead to the Inca city. Machu Picchu is the most outstanding Inca archaeological site due to its creative urban design, the beauty of its architecture and the fine stone work of its constructions.
