Pickup details:

Your driver and guide will meet you at your Cusco hotel or accommodation between 7:00 and 8:00 am. Please share your pickup address when booking and be ready in the lobby. The train time on the Ollantaytambo-Aguas Calientes route is flexible and will be coordinated with you after booking.

    Visit a local textile cooperative in Chinchero and learn how artisans use plants and minerals to naturally dye wool. You may see spinners turning wool into yarn. Llamas and alpacas live on site, and you can spend time with them while your guide explains their role in the weaving process.

    Archaeological Site of Moray

    Visit the Inca agricultural terraces of Moray, a set of circular terraces dug into the earth. Your guide explains how the Incas used the different levels, with their varying microclimates, to test and grow crops at high altitude.

    Salt Maras Peru

    Stop at the Maras salt pans, where families have collected salt from terraced pools for generations. Enjoy the view over the pools, watch the salt collectors at work, and learn from your guide how the salt is gathered and processed.

    Take the shuttle bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel and explore the site with your private guide. Visit landmarks such as the Temple of the Sun, the Main Plaza, the Intihuatana stone, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Royal Tomb, with time for photos at the classic panoramic viewpoint.
