Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel around 4:00 am. The pick up points will be from any hotel located in the city of Cusco, the pick up from your hotel will be at 4 a.m., to go in our private transport to the town of Mollepata. Once we arrive to Mollepata, we will have time to have breakfast, then we will return to the transportation and we will go for 1 hour to Challacancha from where we will begin our 2 hours walk by a rocky road to the place of Soraypampa where we will enjoy a delicious lunch after lunch we will continue with the walk uphill until we arrive to the Humantay Lagoon, place of beauty as the greenish blue of its waters, typical of this lagoon. After enjoying the scenery, we will proceed to descend by the same route to Soraypampa, and then continue hiking for 2 hours to reach our campsite located in Soyroccocha (4,491 masl / 14,730 ft). At night we will be able to appreciate a clear sky and the unique constellations before resting for the next day.

This day we will start early and enjoy a delicious breakfast surrounded by mountains and snow-capped peaks, before continuing our journey to the highest point of the tour, the Salkantay Pass (4,638 masl/15213 ft) which is also crossed in the Salkantay Trek Tour. Certainly, during this tour we will be observers of the phenomenal landscapes that we will observe, which will be a unique and unforgettable experience, once we reach our goal we will be delighted with the grandeur that shows us the imposing Nevado Salkantay and nature in its purest state, having enough time to take incredible photos. Then we will proceed to make our descent with return to the camp, where our lunch will be waiting for us and then we will get ready to continue our way to Soraypampa (3,850 masl / 12,631 ft), where our transportation will be waiting to take us to the city of Cusco and will leave us at the door of your hotel. This is the end of our 2 days Laguna Humantay & Salkantay 2 days tour.
