The tour ends at Plaza San Francisco in Cusco’s historic center. From there, travelers can easily walk or take a taxi to their accommodation.
Begin with a hotel pickup in Cusco and travel into the Sacred Valley of the Incas (2,790 m), surrounded by majestic Andean peaks and the winding Urubamba River.
Visit the Pisac Artisan Market, a colorful hub of Andean culture where you’ll find handwoven textiles, silver jewelry, ceramics, and alpaca goods made by local Quechua artisans.
Around midday, we will continue to Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where a buffet lunch awaits us. The meal will include a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, such as ceviche and vegetarian options, highlighting local flavors.
Explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park, a living Inca town with original urban design, 17 agricultural terraces, and the impressive Temple of the Sun, built by Emperor Pachacutec.
Board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes, passing through lush cloud forest and dramatic river canyons.
Upon arrival, check into a comfortable hotel with private bathroom and hot water.
Free time to explore the Aguas Calientes Handicraft Market, located near the train station, or relax in the town’s natural hot springs. In the evening, meet your guide for a briefing to prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu.

In the afternoon, we will board the train in Aguas Calientes, nestled in the heart of the lush cloud forest and steeped in the echoes of Inca history. This scenic journey offers a final, breathtaking view of the Urubamba River winding through the valley and the towering peaks of the Andes standing guard above.
Upon arrival, we transition from rail to road. Ollantaytambo, with its living Inca town and cobbled streets, marks the bridge between ancient heritage and modern travel
From Ollantaytambo, we continue our journey by car back to the city of Cusco, retracing the dramatic landscapes of the Sacred Valley. This final stretch offers a peaceful moment to reflect on the cultural richness and natural beauty experienced throughout these unforgettable two days.
Our tour concludes near this historic square, a quiet yet symbolic place to end our adventure. From here, travelers can continue exploring Cusco or return to their accommodations.
