    Day 1: Cusco to Amazon Rainforest – Wildlife Spotting & Night Jungle Walk

    Cusco

    We depart Cusco early in the morning, visiting ancient pre-Inca funeral towers along the way. After breakfast, we continue toward Manu National Park.

    Descending into the cloud forest in search of wildlife such as monkeys, the Andean cock-of-the-rock, toucans, and other bird species. In the afternoon, we arrive at our jungle eco-lodge. After dinner, we enjoy a guided night walk to discover nocturnal rainforest wildlife.

    Day 2: Hummingbird Sanctuary - Hidden Lake & Nocturnal Wildlife Exploration

    After breakfast, we visit a hummingbird sanctuary where guests can observe these fascinating birds up close while also spotting monkeys and a diverse variety of Amazon wildlife. Later, we transfer to the river port to begin a scenic boat journey to our jungle lodge, located along the riverbanks deep in the rainforest. Upon arrival, a freshly prepared lunch will be served, followed by time to relax and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. In the afternoon, we explore Machuwasi Lake by traditional canoe. This wetland ecosystem provides outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities, including macaws, hoatzins, monkeys, horned screamers, and many other bird species native to the Amazon Basin.

    Day 3: Clay Lick - Scenic Boat Ride & Cloud Forest - Cusco

    Early in the morning, we visit a vibrant clay lick, where dozens of parrots and macaws gather along the riverbank to feed on mineral rich clay. Reaching this unique location by boat, we travel deeper into the Amazon rainforest and quietly wait as the colorful birds begin their spectacular daily activity. After observing the clay lick, we continue exploring the river by boat in search of more Amazon wildlife. With some luck, we may spot capybaras resting along the riverbanks, along with monkeys, birds, and other iconic rainforest species. Following the excursion, we return to the lodge for breakfast before beginning our scenic journey back to Cusco by vehicle. Along the way, we make comfortable stops for lunch, short breaks, and restroom facilities. Arrival in Cusco is expected in the afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m.
