Enjoy the natural colors of the impressive Rainbow Mountain hike, walking through a beautiful Andean valley, where you can interact with the local people who still keep the traditional Quechua culture alive. You'll see snow-capped peaks, herds of alpacas, glaciers and birds of prey, all within an incredibly colorful mountain range. The Rainbow Mountain hike offers opportunities to see a variety of wildlife, including flying eagles and caracara hawks. The colorful sandstone mountains in the Vinicunca area are very different from any other landscape you can visit in Peru.

We start picking you up from your hotel at 4 a.m. m. We begin our 3-hour trip through the South Valley, arriving in Cusipata we will have our breakfast.

2Cusipata
Arriving in Cusipata we will have our breakfast, before continuing on our way we will arrive at the beginning of the trail in Llacto (4,638m). Along the way, there are stunning views of Inca agricultural terraces, traditional villages, valleys and Andean peaks.

At the beginning of the trail, we will have beautiful views of Cerro Ausangate and glaciers. This is a great place to interact with the local population, who still keeps the Quechua culture alive. Learn about their clothing and the meaning of the different hats worn by men and women.

After walking for about 1.5 hours, we finally reached our destination. the Rainbow Mountain which is about 5,020 meters above sea level. We will appreciate the unique beauty of this colorful landscape, you will have time to explore the area. You can take photographs or simply enjoy the view, finishing our visit. We will return to Cusco arriving approximately at 05:00 pm
