Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes: Trekking and Exploration

Our expedition begins with the first activity of "Zipline" as we say goodbye to Santa Teresa and head towards Hidroeléctrica. Arriving at this point we will begin our hike following the train tracks and appreciating the majestic mountains of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, with a fluid transition between mist-laden cloud forests and the edges of the jungle. Following a path parallel to the Vilcanota River, we enjoy panoramic views and the melodious sound of cascading water.

Aguas Calientes
Upon reaching Hidroelectrica, we pause to explore the area, grasping its significance in powering the region. Here, we're presented with the choice of continuing on foot or boarding a train for the final stretch to Aguas Calientes. Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco: The Final Ascent and Return
