    Your journey begins with a pickup and drive to km 82 (Piskacucho), where the trekking team greets you with a hearty breakfast. After gearing up and applying sunblock, you’ll check in at the first official Inca Trail control, entering the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. The first section is a scenic 4-hour hike past rivers, villages, ancient sites, and breathtaking Andean views, leading to Tarayoc for a buffet lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients. In the afternoon, a 2-hour uphill trek takes you to Wayllabamba, the first campsite, where tents, hot showers, and a jacuzzi await for relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a cooking class led by the trekking chef to learn traditional Peruvian dishes and cocktails. Your guide will wrap up the day with a briefing for the next adventure and engaging stories.

    Wayllabamba – Llulluchapampa – Dead Women’s pass – Pacaymayo

    Wake up early for a hike to Abra Warmihuañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass), the highest point on the trail at 4,215m (13,829 ft). Climb through cloud forests and high-altitude puna grasslands, spotting llamas and alpacas along the way. After celebrating at the pass with panoramic views, descend to the Pacaymayo Valley for camp.

    Pacaymayo – Runcu Raccay Pass- Sayacmarca Ruins-Phuyupatamarca- Wiñaywayna

    Today is the longest but most rewarding day. Hike to Runcu Raccay Inca site and ascend the second pass (4,000m), enjoying breathtaking views of waterfalls and cloud forests. Explore Sayacmarca, Chaquicocha, and Phuyupatamarca before descending through ancient terraces to Wiñay Wayna, one of the most stunning Inca ruins. Enjoy your final group dinner and a heartfelt celebration with your trekking team.

    Day 4: wiñaywayna Sun Gate - Machu Picchu – Cusco

    Machu Picchu

    Rise early at 3:30 AM for a short hike to the Sun Gate (Intipunku) to witness your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu at sunrise. After descending to the citadel, enjoy a 2-hour private guided tour of the Lost City of the Incas. Optional hike to Huayna Picchu (additional cost). Take a scenic bus ride to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo and a private transfer to Cusco.
