Day 1
Cusco - Manu National Park

Our Manu Tours from Cusco begin early in the morning, with our private transport picking you up from your hotel. The adventure to Manu National Park kicks off with a scenic drive to the town of Paucartambo. In Paucartambo, we’ll enjoy a breakfast featuring traditional Andean flavors, providing the perfect start to our journey. Afterward, we’ll continue our drive to the Acjanaco Mountain, a spectacular viewpoint known for the Tres Cruces sunrise. From this vantage point, you’ll catch your first breathtaking glimpse of the Amazon as we enter the buffer zone of Manu National Park.

Paucartambo
As we descend into the cloud forest, we’ll have the opportunity to spot Peru’s national bird, the vibrant cock-of-the-rock. Our expert guide will lead the way, helping you discover other bird species and perhaps even a few monkeys along the route. By midday, we’ll reach Atalaya. Here, we’ll pause for lunch before venturing deeper into the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Our journey continues until we reach Palotoa

Around 5:00 pm, we’ll arrive at the TREEHOUSE INN, where you’ll have time to settle in and unwind. After a hearty dinner, we’ll embark on a thrilling night walk, where, if luck is on our side, we may encounter tarantulas, frogs, and caimans as we explore the wonders of the nocturnal jungle.

Day 2
Parrot Clay Licks

We start the Manu jungle tours early, with a visit to the macaw or parrot clay licks. To witness this vibrant wildlife, we’ll depart at 5:00 am, followed by a 20-minute walk to the clay licks. Afterward, we’ll return to the lodge for breakfast before setting out on a two-hour jungle walk, where you might spot sloths, tapirs, anteaters, and even a harpy eagle. You’ll also learn about the medicinal plants of Manu National Park (Peru). In the evening, we’ll take a night walk around Caiman Lake, looking for caimans, owls, snakes, and amphibians. This will be our final activity before dinner.

Day 3
Night Camping at Rio Negro

On this day, we'll dive deeper into our Manu Experience, venturing further into the heart of the Manu rainforest. After breakfast, we'll embark on an hour-long journey, heading towards the Rio Negro sector, where our jungle walk begins. During the walk, we'll pause to enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning natural surroundings. As we reach the primary forest, we'll set up camp for the night, immersing ourselves in the raw beauty of the untouched jungle. After dinner, we'll embark on a two-hour nighttime exploration of the Manu Amazon, experiencing the forest's mysterious and vibrant nocturnal life.

Day 4
Manu Jungle Adventure

After a great breakfast, we’ll go on a 3 hour walk to the middle of the jungle. This is the best day to spot wildlife. We will have binoculars so we can catch everything. You will have the opportunity to appreciate the giant trees that characterize the primary forest. We’ll have lunch in the middle of the Manu Amazon rainforest. After this, it will be time to return to TREEHOUSE INN. In the lodge, we will have a bonfire reunion. Here we will see a culinary demonstration of the preparation process of some traditional jungle dishes (like paca moto). We will have these dishes for dinner.

Day 5
Return to Cusco

Manu National Park
As our Manu Jungle tours come to a close, we’ll start the day with breakfast before return to Atalaya.

Paucartambo
There, our private transportation will be ready to take us on the journey back to Cusco. The drive will be a scenic one, as we ascend through the lush Cloud Forest and eventually reach the southern part of the Cusco Valley.

We expect to arrive in Cusco by around 6:00 pm. To complete your journey, our services include a final transfer to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and comfortable end to your adventure in Manu National Park.
