    Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 4:30 AM. We will embark on a scenic drive to Piskacucho (Km 82), the starting point of our trek, arriving around 8:00 AM. From here, we start the trail towards Llactapata, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding Andean landscape.

    After soaking in the stunning vistas at Llactapata, we continue our hike, enjoying the serenity of the trail as we head towards our lunch spot. The hike will take approximately two hours, passing through the charming village of Huayllabamba. This village offers a glimpse into the traditional life of the local Quechua people, surrounded by lush green valleys and towering peaks.

    By late afternoon, we will reach Ayapata, our campsite for the night, nestled in the heart of the mountains. Arriving around 5:00 PM, you'll have time to settle into your camp and unwind.     Ascending to Chaquicocha

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast in Ayapata at 6:00 AM, fueling up for one of the most challenging yet rewarding sections of the trek. Today, we will conquer the infamous Dead Woman’s Pass, the highest point of the Inca Trail at an impressive 4,215 meters (13,829 feet). As we ascend, you’ll be treated to panoramic views that stretch across the rugged Andes, making every step worthwhile.
