Your adventure begins bright and early as we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and embark on a scenic drive to Capuliyoc, the official starting point of our trek.

Here, at an elevation of 2,850 meters (9,407 feet), we'll pause to enjoy breakfast in the quaint village of Cachora, a perfect setting to fuel up for the day's journey.

After breakfast, we’ll start our trek, descending along a picturesque trail that winds through lush landscapes until we reach Playa Rosalinas, nestled at 1,475 meters (4,840 feet) above sea level. This serene riverside location is where we'll rest and savor a freshly prepared lunch, with the gentle sounds of the river creating a peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will begin the challenging ascent towards Santa Rosa Alta. The climb is steep but rewarding, as we gradually make our way up to our first campsite, situated at 1,900 meters (6,234 feet). After setting up camp, you’ll be treated to a well-deserved dinner under a sky filled with stars, a perfect ending to a fulfilling day.

Our day begins with an early breakfast at 6:30 AM, preparing us for the exciting journey ahead. By 7:00 AM, we set off towards the awe-inspiring site of Choquequirao. Brace yourself for a rewarding 4-hour trek through diverse landscapes that lead to these ancient ruins.

Upon arrival at Choquequirao, we'll take time to explore the majestic site and enjoy a delicious lunch amidst its historic beauty. Our guided tour will offer an in-depth look into the ruins' rich history and remarkable architectural achievements, providing insight into the significance of this fascinating site. As the day winds down, we'll dine at the ruins, savoring a meal as the sun sets over the ruins. We'll spend the night at the site, nestled at an elevation of 2,850 meters (9,350 feet), allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serenity and grandeur of Choquequirao.

We kick off our day with an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, gearing up for a journey that involves both descending and reascending the trails we traversed before. Our trek begins with a descent through Marampata, a charming village that offers stunning views along the way.

As we continue our descent, we'll eventually reach Chiquiska, situated at 1,990 meters (6,270 feet). From here, we'll ascend once more towards Playa Rosalina, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch amidst the scenic beauty of the area. Following lunch, we’ll make our way back to Chiquiska or, if preferred, Cocamasana, where we’ll enjoy a hearty dinner. This evening’s meal will be a perfect end to a day of exploration and trekking.

On our final day, we begin with an early breakfast at 6:00 AM before setting out on our trek back towards Capuliyoc. After our morning walk, we will transfer from Capuliyoc to the village of Cachora, where we’ll enjoy a delightful lunch.
