Additionally, you can see the colonial church built on Inca ruins, a reminder of colonial influence in the region. After visiting the archaeological center, we will meet the women weavers of Chinchero, famous for their skill and dedication in textile art. We continue towards Pisac, where we will explore one of the most important archaeological complexes in the Sacred Valley. This site is strategically located above the Vilcanota River and offers a combination of religious, agricultural, and military architecture. With its wide terraces and impressive system of platforms, Pisac was an important Inca agricultural community. The guide will share legends and stories about this place as you delve into its terraces and viewpoints. After exploring the archaeological site, we will visit the famous artisan market of Pisac, where you can purchase souvenirs, textiles, and pottery that represent the local culture.
Before returning to Cusco, we will make one last stop at the Mirador de Taray, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley at sunset.
