We will pick you up at 5:00 a.m. from your hotel in Cusco to start the adventure to Manu National Park. On the way we visit the Chullpas of Ninamarca, ancient pre-Inca burial towers. Then we arrive at Paucartambo, a traditional village where we have a local breakfast. We continue to Ajanaco, the entrance to the park, and from there we begin the descent into the cloud forest. In this area we will see orchids, ferns and bromeliads. Hopefully, we can observe the rooster of the rocks, Peru's national bird, and the bespectacled bear. Along the way we will make several stops to enjoy the scenery, flora and fauna, and take a lunch on the route. In the afternoon we arrive at Bambu Lodge, a cozy hostel where we will spend the night. Weather permitting, we will take an optional night hike.

Upon arrival at the Golden Noose Lodge, we settled down and had lunch. In the afternoon we will hike to the large ceiba tree, the highest in the Peruvian Amazon, which can reach more than 66 meters.
