Hello, traveler! Once you've completed your booking, we'll reach out to share all the details and tips for your upcoming adventure in a quick briefing. Also, please let us know your preferred pick-up location in advance—whether it’s from the airport or another spot not mentioned in the description. We’re here to make your experience as enjoyable as possible!
Our first day starts with the hotel pickup, ready to explore the most fascinating corners of the Sacred Valley. After this, our first stop is Chinchero, where you’ll experience a live demonstration of local weaving techniques, followed by a visit to the archaeological site, including the impressive terraces where our guide will introduce you into the inca history.
We start the day heading to Moray, a fascinating site with circular terraces that will take your breath away. Here, you’ll marvel at the incredible agricultural engineering of the Incas, who used these structures to study different microclimates. Get ready to take some amazing photos and be amazed by the legacy they left behind!
Our next stop is the Maras Salt Flats, a photogenic paradise with countless salt ponds that sparkle in the sun. We’ll take some unforgettable pictures while learning about the ancient salt-extraction technique that’s still used here, just like it was during Inca times.
Time to take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. A cozy place that offers traditional dishes made with fresh, local ingredients.
After lunch, we’ll explore the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress, located in the Sacred Valley. Here, we’ll wander through ancient temples and water fountains while enjoying panoramic views of the valley. This place is rich in history and full of magic!
Next, we’ll get on the train in Ollantaytambo for a scenic 1 hour and 40-minute ride to Aguas Calientes. Along the way, we’ll witness some of the most beautiful Andean landscapes, with the Urubamba River flowing alongside us. It’s going to be an unforgettable journey! Finally, we arrive in Aguas Calientes, a charming and small town. Our team will be there to greet us and take us to the hotel, where we’ll have some time to relax. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a short briefing with the guide to be ready for our second day: Machupicchu!
Our second day starts with a delicious light breakfast that will give us enough energy to start the day. After this, we’ll board the bus to Machu Picchu, making sure to be among the first to enter this breathtaking sanctuary. (Remember that the itinerary can change depending on your Machupicchu ticket time, we will arrange everything based on your preferences) With our tickets in hand, we’ll be ready to explore the ancient Machu Picchu, guided by our expert bilingual guide. This is the moment we've all been waiting for – the chance to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World! We’ll begin our tour by visiting the most iconic spots in Machu Picchu, where every corner offers a perfect photo opportunity. As we explore, we’ll capture unforgettable moments at these world-famous landmarks, ensuring memories that will last a lifetime.
After immersing ourselves in the history and beauty of Machu Picchu, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes. Here, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at the restaurant of your preference, Aguas calientes is a small town but it offers amazing restaurant options. After this, you can explore the charming town. Take in the vibrant atmosphere, shop for souvenirs, visiting the Butterfly santuary or if you have enough time, you can go to the hot springs before you board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arriving in Ollantaytambo, we’ll board our transportation back to Cusco. After a day filled with thrilling adventures and unforgettable moments, we’ll arrive in Cusco and drop each traveler off at their hotel. We will say goodbye, but look forward to sharing more adventures with you in the future. Tupananchiskama (until we meet again)!
