Itinerary

Duration: 12 hours (approximately)

    Pickup from your hotel in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba at 4:00 a.m., followed by departure toward Mollepata via the Anta route in tourist transportation. During the approximately 3-hour journey, you will enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes with brief stops for rest and photos. Upon arrival in Mollepata, we will enjoy a traditional Andean buffet breakfast to recharge energy. Afterwards, we continue for about 45 minutes to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. The hike to Laguna Humantay is approximately 2 km with a moderate ascent, where you can observe high-Andean flora and fauna as well as beautiful views of the Nevado Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains. Once at the lagoon, you will have time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and explore the area. Afterwards, we return on foot to Soraypampa and travel back to Mollepata to enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we return to Urubamba and Ollantaytambo, arriving approximately between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m..
