Day 1
AIRPORT PICKUP - CITY TOUR

Sacsayhuaman
A representative from Machu Picchu Adventure Peru will be waiting for you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel. The morning is free to rest and acclimatize. At 2:00 pm, you will be picked up from your hotel for a city tour. The first stop will be Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), a 45-minute guided tour, after which you will return to your transportation. After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from the Quechua words Saqsay = place of satiety and Waman = Falcon, meaning "place where the falcon is satiated"). Next, we will visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rock outcrop), a place of great mysticism, which you will feel upon entering the rock formation. After another 15-minute drive, we will arrive at Puca Pucara (Red Fortress), a military construction. The final visit is to Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water was worshipped. After our tour, we will board our vehicle for the return trip to Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 7:00 pm.

Day 2
SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to begin our tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisac, where we will have an approximately 1-hour guided tour. Traveling towards the Willkamayu River, also known as the Sacred River, we will arrive in Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will have a buffet lunch (typical Andean cuisine). After that, we will travel 30 minutes by vehicle to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, where we will have a 1-hour guided tour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and the Andean terraces. Then we will go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. The following day, we will visit Machu Picchu. (THE GUIDE WILL PICK UP AT YOUR HOTEL IN THE EVENING TO PROVIDE ALL THE DETAILS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU.)

LOST CITY OF THE INCAS MACHU PICCHU

Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
We will wake up early to board the bus to the Machu Picchu ruins. A guided tour, the duration of which will depend on the type of ticket, will be followed by a return to town for lunch. You will have free time before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and from there by bus to Cusco. Arrival time will depend on the train schedule. Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, and the only entity authorized to sell these tickets is the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Tickets will be purchased according to the available circuits and tickets (corresponding to circuits 1 and 2). Other circuits may be offered with an additional charge to cover the price difference. In the event that any type of Machu Picchu ticket is unavailable, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.

Day 4
Rainbow Mountain

Rainbow Mountain Peru
At 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel. We will head towards the district of Cusipata. 6:30 a.m. Arrival in the district of Cusipata, where we will have a buffet breakfast for 30 minutes. Then we continue our journey. 7:00 a.m. Departure from the restaurant towards the Wasipata area. 8:00 a.m. Approximate arrival at the roadside and, later, start of the hike to Rainbow Mountain (Winicunca). 1 hour and 30 minutes each way. 40 minutes visit to Rainbow Mountain (Winicunca). 1 hour and 15 minutes (approximately) return to where the vehicle is waiting. 12:00 p.m. Approximate arrival time at the roadside, and once the group is complete, we begin our return to the district of Cusipata. 1:00 p.m. Approximate arrival at our restaurant where we will have a buffet lunch for 30 or 40 minutes. At 2:40 p.m. We will return to the city of Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco at approximately 5:30 pm.

Day 5
LAKE HUMANTAY

At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast. Afterward, we will continue our tour to Soraypampa, where we will begin a 1.5-hour hike to Humantay Lagoon, which sits at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. During the hike, we will appreciate the local flora and fauna. We will then descend to Soraypampa to pick you up and drive back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to Cusco at approximately 6:00 pm.
