Pick-up from the hotels in our transportation in the morning at 5:00 a.m. Departure from the city of Cusco towards Km 82. In this sector, it is mandatory for passengers to identify themselves with their original passport (the same one used for the reservation) and, if they are students, they must present their student card (ISIC CARD) at the first checkpoint. We will begin our journey accompanied by Quechua porters, advancing through the fertile valleys along the Urubamba River, with a magnificent view of the snow-capped and glacial Veronica. Then, we will continue to Llactapata, an ancient Inca city that protected the entrance to two valleys. The guide will explain the use and significance of the site, as well as provide a magnificent photographic view of the area. From there, we will walk for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Wayllabamba campsite, Where we will spend the night.
I wake up at 6:00 a.m. and we will have 30 minutes for personal hygiene and preparing the backpacks, then we will serve breakfast in our dining tent. and departure of the walkers, the first part of our day in strenuous ascent will take us from the Inka village of Wayllabamba to the pass of Warmihuañusca (the pass of the dead woman) at 4200m, prior to this point we will have a coffee break, which is the highest part of the route 4 to 5 hrs. From which point we can appreciate a panoramic view of singular beauty of two valleys we will continue the walk, but this time it is downhill for 1.30 hrs. Until we reach the Pacaymayu camp. Lunch will be served at the Lluchapampa camp. Tea service will be served at 5.30 pm and dinner at 7.00 pm approx. In Pacaymayo Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack. Hiking time: 8.0 hours. Overnight: Tents, Inca Trail. Pacaymayu Camp.
This day we will walk along a stretch of remarkably well preserved Inca trail, passing through ancient archaeological remains covered by a dense tropical forest, then we will visit Runkuraquay, Sayacmarka, after this point after 15 minutes of walking we will serve lunch then we will continue the trek, we will arrive at Phuyupatamarka (city above the clouds) with a spectacular view of several snow-capped peaks of the Andean mountain range, from where we will descend in a continuous descent of 2 hours. we will arrive at the Wiñaywayna camp, probably the most spectacular archaeological complex of the tour because it is carried out through an exuberant forest of clouds covered with flowers and enigmatic history. At this point, the warm shower service is available, which is accessed after making a payment of S/5.00 nuevos soles (US 1.50). Then at 5:30 p.m. We will serve the tea. In the evening we will enjoy an excellent dinner.
The wake will be at 4 in the morning and breakfast will be served at 4.30 am. The departure time of the group is estimated at 5.30 am, control point of the Inca trail, we will go through the tropical jungle passing through Intipunku (Puerta del Sol) which we will arrive in 1.20 hours approx., we will arrive at Machupichu at 8.00 where the hikers will leave their backpacks in a luggage storage, after a break of 20 minutes we will enter "the city of the Incas" where we will make a tour complete tour of the Inca city for approximately 3 hours having after that free time to make a personal exploration of the Inca city. A time and meeting point of the group will be set in the town of Aguas Calientes from where in the afternoon you will board the train back to Cusco at the train station our transport will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
