Meeting and pickup
We offer optional pick-ups from any hotels from Douz area.
If you request the hotel pick up, please meet the driver at the hotel lobby. He will be wearing a jacket written on it: Dunes Insolites.
What to expect
The desert trips offers not only a total disconnection from the real world, but also quality time spent with your dearest friends. You will be well taken care of by the dear locals who live in the closest village.
The travel experience starts in a small village not far from Douz. If you would like to have a transportation offered from Djerba, Tozeur or Gabès, write us! We will be happy to help :-)
The guide crew will be waiting for you and your camel-trip will take about 2 hours (depending on when you arrive). From there, your camel adventure will start!
You will reach your camping spot before sunset, and you will participate in setting up the tent and preparing a traditional couscous on a wood-fire. (if you want, of course!)
PS: You will be exploring only one location: around the desert camp. The activity start at 4PM and end at 10AM the following fay.
