For hotel pickups, our guide will meet travelers inside the hotel lobby in Cusco. The guide will be waiting with an official photo ID for identification, and if travelers are not ready, the guide may call the room to assist. Please be ready at the agreed pickup time, but our team will kindly wait a few minutes if needed. For airport pickups, our staff will be waiting at the arrival hall after baggage claim. They will hold a sign that says “Chullpi Expeditions” along with the lead traveler’s name, making it easy to identify your guide.
The Cusco City Tour offers the perfect introduction to the Imperial City. Starting with pickup from your accommodation at 8:40 a.m., you will explore the Cusco Cathedral, home to paintings of the Cusco School of Art and stunning gold and silver details. Continue to the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), once the most important Inca temple, and admire its remarkable stone architecture. The journey continues to Sacsayhuamán, with its massive stone walls carved with precision; the ceremonial site of Qenqo; the red fortress of Puca Pucara; and Tambomachay, famous for its water fountains dedicated to the Inca cult of water. The tour ends with your return around 1:30 p.m., leaving you connected to the history and culture of Cusco.
Travelers will stay overnight at a comfortable 3-star hotel located in the heart of Cusco’s Plaza de Armas. The hotel offers cozy rooms with private bathrooms, modern amenities, and a buffet breakfast, providing a convenient and welcoming base for exploring the city and nearby attractions.
Travelers will be picked up in Ollantaytambo at 6:30 a.m. to begin the day exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, they will visit Pisac, exploring its impressive ruins and enjoying the local artisan market. Between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., they will enjoy a half-day buffet lunch, featuring a selection of local and international dishes. In the afternoon, they will continue to Ollantaytambo, exploring its ancient fortresses and cobblestone streets. At 3:00 p.m., they will be dropped off at the train station to board the Vistadome Observatory, a train with live shows, a balcony, and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley on the journey to Aguas Calientes.

Early in the morning, the guest will ascend to Machu Picchu to enjoy the golden morning light. They will take a private 2-hour guided tour of Circuit 2B (or the reserved circuit), exploring the main temples, terraces, and secret viewpoints. During the tour, there will be a special moment for meditation or photography at one of the most iconic viewpoints, accompanied by explanations about Inca history, culture, and spirituality. To conclude the experience, we will take the return bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where the guest will enjoy a gourmet lunch at one of the best local restaurants, featuring both local and international cuisine. Finally, they will take the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a private transfer to Cusco, where the tour will conclude.
