What to expect

The activity takes place in the Cultural Zone of the Manu National Park, one of the most biodiversity areas in the world. The tour begins with a journey from Cusco through the Andes to the cloud forest, making stops at viewpoints to appreciate the landscape and know the transition between the different ecosystems.

During the experience, travelers will take walks on interpretive trails to observe flora and fauna. With the support of the guide they will be able to identify orchids, ferns, Amazonian trees and birds such as the rooster of rocks, toucans and hummingbirds. Depending on the season, it will also be possible to observe monkeys, coati, butterflies and other wild animals.

The tour includes navigation along Amazon rivers to access different sectors and enjoy the scenery. In addition, the guide will explain the biodiversity of the Manu, the importance of its conservation and the cultural value of local communities. Participants will learn about Amazonian ecosystems, the species that inhabit the area, and good practices for visiting a protected natural area responsibly.
