Your tour begins with hotel pickup at 8:30 am to start the excursion to Maras, Moray, and Chinchero. The first stop is Maras, where you will explore the famous Salt Mines and see how salt has been traditionally collected in more than 4,000 small pools.
We continue to Moray, an impressive Incan agricultural site made up of circular terraces. Each level generates its own microclimate, allowing the Incas to experiment with different crops. Next, we visit Chinchero, where you will observe the traditional Andean textile process, including washing, spinning, dyeing, and weaving alpaca and other camelid fibers. Afterward, the journey continues toward the Malaga Pass, located at 4,600 m.a.s.l., surrounded by sacred Andean peaks. We then head to Cocalmayo Hot Springs in Santa Teresa to relax in the naturally warm Andean waters.
To end the day, you will check into our unique Capsule Hotels, transparent glass domes suspended more than 500 meters above the river, offering an unforgettable night in the mountains.
Your day begins early at 5:30 am with a nourishing breakfast. We then start an exciting 1.5 hour downhill biking adventure, enjoying the landscapes of the high jungle. After biking, you will experience the thrill of Zipline (Canopy Tour).
Next, we continue with a fun Rafting (Canotaje) activity lasting approximately one hour. After lunch, we begin the return journey to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon.
Pickup from your hotel takes place between 4:30 am and 5:00 am.
Rainbow Mountain sits at 5,200 m.a.s.l. in the Andes, close to the imposing Ausangate Mountain (6,385 m.a.s.l.), one of Peru’s tallest peaks. During the trek, you will witness the vivid natural colors of this unique mountain and interact with local communities who have lived in the region for generations. At the summit, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the sacred Andean landscape.
