    Day 1

    Cusco - Mollepata - Laguna Humantay - Soraypampa

    Humantay Lake

    We pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 am to start the bus trip to Soraypampa (4 hours), passing through Inca remains, we will arrive at Mollepata where we will have breakfast in rustic restaurant. Then we will continue the journey until we reach the trekking point, where the mountain guide will gather the group and make an offering to the Apus (Gods) with the famous kintu, which is the union of the three coca leaves and begin to make a small ritual as payment to the Pachamama, as formerly did the Inca ancestors, to obtain the permission of the Apus and enter sacred spaces and thus reach without any problem the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. After 3 hours of trekking we will arrive at Soraypampa, at its base camp, where you will taste a delicious lunch (12:00 pm), overlooking the Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. In the afternoon (13 :00 hrs) visit to the Humantay lagoon: magic lagoon of turquoise waters, located on top of the snowy, this tour will be 3 hours round trip.

    Soraypampa - Salkantay Pass - Wayramachay – Chaullay

    On this second day, we will travel 22 km in a demanding but rewarding hike that crosses varied landscapes such as snow, mountain ranges, cloud forests and jungle. The day starts at 4:30 am with tea and breakfast at 5:00 am. At 5:30 am the 3-hour hike to the highest point, snowy Salkantay, begins, followed by a 2-hour descent to lunch at Wayra Machay. Then, continue through the cloud forest, enjoying the flora, fauna and natural sounds, until you arrive at the camp at 17:00 hrs.

    Chaullay - Lucmabamba

    The third day begins at 8:00 am with a typical breakfast and a spectacular sunrise in the Salkantay Canyon. The morning is quiet, with a 6-hour hike through the jungle, surrounded by waterfalls, rivers, birds and orchids, until you reach Lucmabamba. There, to access the suspended mountain capsules, you cross a 200-meter Tibetan bridge, an adrenaline-filled experience. After lunch during the trekking, in the afternoon the Coffee Tour takes place in a local estate. Dinner is at 18:00 hrs and stays overnight in the hanging shelters in the middle of the jungle.

    Lucmabamba – Llaqtapata - Hydroelectronics - Aguas Calientes

    The fourth day begins with breakfast in a suspended capsule, followed by a 2 hour 30 minute hike up to the archaeological site of Llactapata, part of the Inca Qhapaq Ñan road. From there you get the first unique views of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. Then, descend for 2 hours to the Hydroelectric, passing through local communities, where you have lunch. In the afternoon, continue walking for 3 hours to Aguas Calientes, following the train track at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain. In the evening, the guide arranges the income to Machu Picchu for the next day, and stays overnight in a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

    The fifth day begins very early to witness the sunrise over Machu Picchu. Then you take a guided tour of the Inca citadel, discovering its architecture, history and connection with Andean cosmology. Surrounded by a jungle mountain landscape, the sanctuary reveals its terraces, walls and structures carved into the rock. After the visit, you descend to Aguas Calientes to take the return to the city of Cusco.
