    CUSCO-OLLANTAYTAMBO-KM 104-MACHU PICCHU-AGUAS CALIENTES

    Start your adventure with an early morning bus/train ride through the Sacred Valley to Km 104, where the trail begins. From the very first steps, you’ll be walking along original Inca stone paths, surrounded by misty mountains, waterfalls, and exotic orchids. Along the way, your expert guide will bring history to life as you explore Chachabamba and the stunning archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna, perched on the edge of the mountains with panoramic views of the Urubamba River below. Then comes the highlight — the moment you’ve been waiting for. After a rewarding hike, you’ll pass through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and catch your first breathtaking glimpse of Machu Picchu, bathed in golden afternoon light — a moment you’ll never forget. Spend the night in the charming town of Aguas Calientes.

    Machu Picchu

    An early start is essential to make the most of your visit to Machu Picchu. You'll take a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Here a guided tour of Machu Picchu follows, providing you with insights into the history, architecture, and significance of this remarkable Inca citadel. After the tour, you'll return to Aguas Calientes by bus. You will get some free time for lunch (not included), get souvenirs etc. Later in the day, you'll board the train back to Ollantaytambo and then continue by bus to Cusco. The tour concludes with your return to Cusco (hotel) in the evening around 7:00 pm.
